Communion with my Daughter

Most Sundays I am up in the front leading and ministering to other families. Most times I kmiss or forget to focus on my on family on Sabbath. When I get a free Sunday to really have a Sabbath (rest), then I get to sit right next to my daughter and communion with her as we reflect on the pass-over table. Meesha gets to ask me (whisper) questions on the bread, cup, cross, Jesus, pain… during those quiet moment when the organ music is filling the air. Today was one of those days. I would call it is a Sabbath-Date.

As ministers, we miss out on sitting with our family/ies during worship. It is even good to once in a while to sit next to the family while an elder steps upto lead communion at your church. Meesha’s faith and spiritual maturity is powerful. Today I enjoyed communion with my daughter, Meesha.
